What To Do vs. Making It Happen
There’s this saying from a fitness writer I like:
“Adherence trumps dogma.”
What does that mean? Well, in the world of working out, it means that an imperfect program, consistently administered, will get you into better shape than that “perfect” program you can’t seem to stick to.
The same point applies at work. A “pretty good” operational change that sticks is worth way more than the perfect process that never really takes hold.
That’s what they don’t teach you in business school. As it turns out, (a) knowing what to do and (b) actually making it happen are two completely different things.
I spend a lot of my time inside our portfolio making things stick. And after writing a bunch about the topic and leading a ton of workshops focused on getting new processes to take hold, I decided to share my “make it stick” playbook that anyone can use to make sure that new thing they want their team to start doing actually happens.
The download link to the playbook is below. (No gate. No form-fill. No fee.)
If you find it helpful, my only ask is that you share it - either by sending along the link to this article, or by liking/sharing this post on LinkedIn.
As always, thanks for reading.
